Archiviato il mondiale, a Maldegem è ripartita la stagione del ciclocross. Prima gara in maglia iridata per Niels Albert. Ha vinto Sven Nys davanti a Vanthourenhout e Wellens. Assente Boom, alle prese con un forte mal di gola. Solo 10° Albert.
